24 HOURS PROJECT/ THE STATES OF THE SOUL
BALLPEN & MIXED TECHNIQUE DRAWINGS ON PAPER (2009/2010)
Using drawing as a vehicle of self-knowledge, the searching for the real self beyond cultural conditioning, psychological, social patterns and filters. A depth look pervades each work.
"24 Hours / The States of the Soul." The works reproduced are a sample of work, but not all. In them, considering painting as a vehicle for self-knowledge, she is searching for the real self beyond cultural conditioning, social patterns and psychological filters; the artist essentially pursues the essence of the human being, with all his complexity, to create images that define states of mind and life, working symbology and, at the same time, empathying with the audience, trying to find a place where they are reflected and can find a private space for reflection.
In this way, using drawing as a tool, the artist delves deeper into the mind, into the states of the soul of every human being, reflecting the mystery of the everyday acts and creating a visual metaphor of the unconscious, thoughts and emotions.
